A bit about the role...

Training Future Talent: As a Trainer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the skills and expertise of our Apprentice Cabinet Makers. Your experience and knowledge will be invaluable in guiding them towards becoming accomplished tradesmen. Passing on Your Trade: Your love for cabinet making can inspire the next generation. This is your chance to not only hone your teaching skills but also to contribute to the legacy of your trade.

  • Support for your development: If you don't already have your TAE (Certificate IV in Training and Assessment), don't worry! We're here to support you in obtaining it. If you already have your TAE, that's even better – you're ahead of the game.

So what does your everyday look like? 

  • Delivery of Certificate III in Cabinet Making to Skill360’s apprentices throughout the region.
  • Develop and maintain training plans/schedules to ensure progression and successful completion of training by apprentices/trainees.  
  • Promote training and assessment products and employment services of Skill360 Australia to potential clients

  • We can support you to obtain TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or; TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus the following units: 
    • either TAELLN411 or TAELLN401A, and 
    • either TAEASS502 or TAEASS502A or TAEASS502B 
    • Or a diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education 
  • Must hold the relevant Trade Qualification in Cabinet Making.
  • Must have an up-to-date skills matrix including industry currency and professional development log, or willing to put one together.  
  • Possession of, or ability to possess a Blue Card and ability to obtain a National Police Check with no outcomes.
