They now have three locations in the South West of Sydney where they we can achieve their goal of service, freshness, sustainability and quality.

As a pivotal part of the local supply chain, The Butchers Pantry are proud of their ability to procure high quality Beef, Pork, Lamb, Poultry and Game products, and produce the finest cuts for public consumption within the Over the Counter Retail, Food Service Industry and to Wholesale markets. 

Applicants must be available to work weekends!

What's involved:

As the Apprentice Butcher, you will have the opportunity to gain the knowledge and skills within the Butchery industry assisting in the below tasks, but not limited to:

  • Work closely with the team to learn all aspects of a becoming a successful butcher.
  • Learn to use meat grinders, knives, saws & other tools to cut down meat into smaller portions
  • Perform quality inspections, weigh, price & package cuts
  • Service of customers  

To suit this role you will be eager, reliable and have a passion for all things meat! You will take pride in your presentation, have good communication skills and seek out opportunities to learn in your everyday duties.

Award Wages Apply

In order to be eligible for an apprenticeship in NSW you must be either an:

  • Australian Citizenship
  • Australian Permanent Residency
  • New Zealand Passport Holder residing in Australia for more than six months.
