DescriptionReporting to the Facilities Manager, this is a permanent role on a 7/7, Drive in / Drive out roster, your base location is Coppabella and significant travel to our Villages will be required with a Company vehicle provided whilst on roster.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out reactive, planned and preventative maintenance across our Villages.
- Install, repair and maintain underground, storm, sanitary and water piping systems.
- Schedule maintenance on plumbing systems and fixtures
- Install, repair and maintain sinks, tubs and toilets in line with all building codes, installation requirements and relevant legislation.
- Liaise with sub-contractors and suppliers carrying out works under warranties and other guarantees.
- Deliver excellent maintenance services to our guests in a timely manner with a minimum of disruption to their living and working environment.
- Take part in an out of hours response system to support Villages 24/7, 365 days per year.
- Always apply safe work practices to contribute to the safety culture at Civeo.
To be successful, you will have:
- Certificate IV in Plumbing and Services/QBCC licenced Plumber/Drainer/Gas Fitter
- Confined Space Ticket – (desirable)
- Experience with solar & heat pump hot water systems, thermostatic mixing valves, and backflow prevention.
- Experience with commercial gas cooking appliance maintenance and repairs.
- Used IT systems for reporting and responding to maintenance issues, diagnosing faults, and closing maintenance issues.
- Manual Driver’s Licence – C class
- Flexibility to travel across the Bowen Basin
- At least 5 years’ experience in similar work, preferably in the service or hospitality industry over multiple sites.
