Boilermakers, Phosphate Hill

Wood is currently looking for Boilermakers for a short-term project at Phosphate Hill, Queensland, commencing on 5th May.

The successful candidates will have experience in heavy industry maintenance/shutdowns, with a strong commitment to safety, proven teamwork and the ability to work autonomously when required.

Rotation/Work Pattern:  Seven (7) weeks total, consisting of two FIFO cycles of 3:1 and 3.

This is a good short-term opportunity to earn EXCELLENT RATES and includes flights, accommodation, all meals. Flights are out of Brisbane or Townsville.

Experience

• Previous heavy industry maintenance experience is essential
• Minimum 5 years' post qualification experience in heavy industry.

Skills/Qualifications

• Trade qualified Boilermaker
• Must have current Confined Space ticket – validity two (2) years from date of issue OR be prepared to update before deployment
• You will be available for a Wood medical ASAP
• Successful completion of a plate welding test will be a requirement (5mm – 20mm plate).
