Job Title: Workshop Boilermaker/Fabricator
Job Summary:
Synergy Engineering, a manufacturing and construction business located in Wyong, New South Wales, is seeking an experienced Workshop Boilermaker/Fabricator to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing fabrication and welding tasks for a variety of structural steel and architectural projects. ( ability to work with stainless steel is also advantageous but not essential) We have full-time and Casual positions available with day shift hours from 6AM-2:30 PM Monday to Thursday and 5AM-1PM on Friday. Hourly rate $37-$37.50 per Hour permanent rates and $43.35 per hr casual. (penalty rates apply on Overtime.)
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and weld structural steel and stainless-steel (Desired but not essential) components according to project specifications
- Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication
- Be familiar with workshop machinery such as guillotines, presses, drills, grinders, etc.
- have a good eye for detail to ensure they meet required standards
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols while working in the workshop
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects
Skills:
- Hold a valid trade certificate as a Boilermaker or Fabricator (Cert III Engineering - Fabrication)
- Proficient in MIG / MMA welding techniques; (Flux core is also desirable)
- TIG welding experience preferred but not essential
- Previous Structural fabrication experience and Balustrade fabrication
- Forklift license preferred but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately from technical drawings
-Robust understanding of workplace health & safety practices
Qualifications:
-Minimum of Cert III Engineering - Fabrication trade certificate
-Proven experience as a Boilermaker/Fabricator in the manufacturing or construction industry
