Workshop Boilermaker (Gladstone)

Join our busy Workshop team, where you will work on specialised projects that require your expertise in welding and fabrication. This role offers the chance to utilize advanced tools and machinery and contribute to the quality and innovation that Mecha is known for.

Boilermaker (Site Based)

Be part of our Projects Team and work on exciting on-site projects, including shutdowns and installations at Boyne Smelters Limited (BSL) and other leading industrial sites. This role offers a lifestyle roster that ensures you have the flexibility to balance your professional and personal life. Local work and opportunities to work away.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate, repair, and maintain structural and fixed plant equipment


• Perform site-based and workshop welding and fabrication tasks


• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards at all times


• Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and timelines

What We Are Looking For:

• Trade qualification in Fabrication (Boilermaker) with experience in heavy industries


• Ability to pass pre-employment medical checks (Yellow Medipass, Blue, Coal Board


• Proven welding skills with a commitment to safety and precision


• Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team


• Willingness to work onsite at Boyne Smelters Limited, QAL, RTAY, and QMAG


• Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship
