About the Role:

Sun Engineering is seeking a skilled and experienced Boilermaker / Welding Inspector to join our team in Carole Park, QLD. This dual role involves both fabrication and inspection in our workshop of government and mining infrastructure projects.

Successful applicants must:

• Be experienced in structural/plate fabrication and welding
• Able to interpret workshop drawings
• Able to inspect welds against specifications for conformities.
• Can set welding machines and weld using Solid and Flux Core welding wire
• Have Cert III Boilermaker Qualification
• At least one of the following certifications

• CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector
• IWI-B Welding Inspector
• AS1796 Cert 10 Welding Supervisor
• AS2214 Welding Supervisor

• MS Word and Excel experience an advantage
• Be able to attend a short interview
• Be able to provide references
