PLI (Powerlift Industries) is a Karratha, Pilbara based leading service provider in the Mining and Resource industries, expanding business.

We require experienced Boilermakers that are local to Karratha to join our Crew team on a casual basis. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a great team in a rapidly expanding business.

You will be working at either our Karratha Workshop or various sites throughout the Pilbara region.

This role will require the successful applicant to be a local resident to Karratha or Dampier.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Minimum of 2 years BMW experience (mandatory)
  • Minimum of 3 years working in the mining sector (mandatory)
  • Excellent attitude to safety
  • Flexible attitude to work within all our crews and to assist with other duties outside your scope
  • Able to Work Autonomously as well in a team
  • Able to follow instructions and show initiative
  • Safety and process-focused, and willing to input and continually improve the process

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Fabrication Trade qualification (mandatory)
  • Proof of Right to work in Australia (mandatory)
  • Current and Valid Australian Drivers Licence (HR class highly desirable)
  • RB, RI or RA High Risk Work Licence (highly desirable)
  • Working at Heights, EWP and LF tickets (highly desirable)
  • Rio Tinto, FMG, BHP, Roy Hill and Yara inducted (highly desirable)
  • MSIC (highly desirable)
  • White Card (mandatory)
  • Excellent attitude to safety
  • Flexible attitude to work within all our crews and to assist with other duties outside your scope
  • Successful applicant is required to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing
