We are a division of CSF Industries, first established in 1979, and boasting six fully integrated divisions offering steel fabrication, roofing services, coating and finishing, engineering, lifting and transport and logistics.  CSF Industries holds a unique position in the construction and fabrication industry in Northern Australia in terms of size, experience and expertise.

Thomas Steel Fabrications have been operating in Townsville since 1956, providing a range of steel fabrication services throughout North Queensland, from the initial estimating stage, through to drafting, fabrication and the installation by our experienced erection teams. We have a reputation for excellence and are committed in continuing to supply our customers with the highest quality product coupled with an exceptional level of service. 



Description

WHAT IS ON OFFER:

  • 4 day week from Monday to Thursday, 9.5 hour days with a 3 day weekend from Friday to Sunday
  • Overtime available

What you will bring to us:

  • Be based in Townsville
  • Trade qualified (Boilermaker, Fabricator, Welder)
  • Demonstrated experience with structural steel and plate fabrication
  • Proven interpretation of structural drawings
  • Previous experience in workshop activities preferred
  • A commitment to health and safety and a team first approach
  • Role model to our apprentices
