Boilermaker

PHE Mining is seeking a highly motivated, experienced boiler maker to join our team on a fixed term project contract basis. This role will be based at a remote mine site in the Northern Territory on a 2 & 1 roster, 12-hour days. We encourage candidates willing to fly in and fly out (FIFO) of Brisbane on a direct charter flight to the project site to apply.

PHE is an Industrial Electrical Contractor that undertakes large scale projects in regional and remote areas nationally. The role involves working closely with our electrical construction teams to fabricate and assemble structural solutions for the electrical and instrumentation installation of an underground hard rock mine.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful you will have the following skills and experience:

• Australian recognised trade qualification – Boilermaker (fabrication)
• Excellent attitude to safety
• 5 years’ experience working in a mining/heavy industrial environment
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and develop simple mark ups
• Hold a current C Class Australian driver’s license
• Current Working at Heights certificate
• EWP (Over 11 metres)
• White construction card
• Previous experience working in/with electrical teams will be an advantage but not essential
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment checks
