THE OPPORTUNITY
We are searching for skilled Boilermakers that are local to Karratha to join our Core Crew team on a permanent basis. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a great team in a rapidly expanding business. You will be based at our Karratha Workshop and required to work at various sites throughout the Pilbara.
This role will require the successful applicant to be a local resident to Karratha or Dampier.
ABOUT YOU:
- Minimum of 2 years BMW experience (mandatory)
- Minimum of 3 years working in the mining sector (mandatory)
- Excellent attitude to safety
- Flexible attitude to work within all our crews and to assist with other duties outside your scope
- Able to Work Autonomously as well in a team
- Able to follow instructions and show initiative
- Safety and process-focused, and willing to input and continually improve the process
REQUIREMENTS:
- Fabrication Trade qualification (mandatory)
- Proof of Right to work in Australia (mandatory)
- Current and Valid Australian Drivers Licence (HR class highly desirable)
- RB, RI or RA High Risk Work Licence (highly desirable)
- Working at Heights, EWP and LF tickets (highly desirable)
- Rio Tinto, FMG, BHP, Roy Hill and Yara inducted (highly desirable)
- MSIC (highly desirable)
- White Card (mandatory)
- Excellent attitude to safety
- Flexible attitude to work within all our crews and to assist with other duties outside your scope
- Successful applicant is required to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing
