Bulga Open Cut is a long-established and consistently performing open-cut coal operation, located near Singleton in the NSW Hunter Valley. We offer one of the most ideal lifestyle locations with its proximity to Singleton, Maitland and Newcastle being just minutes from the Hunter Expressway.
We are expanding our fleet and have an opportunity for an experienced Boilermaker/Heavy Fabricator, working rotating shifts on our Lifestyle Roster (4/5/5). The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Promoting and reinforcing a culture of safety, operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Works including, fabrication, repairs and general welding
Experience in pipe & structural steel fabrication, sheet metal and welding/repairs of cast materials an advantage
Providing a high level service to the Asset Stakeholders in both a planned and breakdown fashion to meet the needs of the business.
Maintain a high level of housekeeping
About you:
Qualified and experienced Boilermaker
Ability to read workshop drawings
Proficient in welding processes such as GTAW, MMAW, FCAW and GMAW
Solid foundation around most facets of this field, cutting, gouging, folding, fabricating, welding and quality control.
High attention to detail and quality-focused
Flexible can-do attitude and sound work ethic.
Great time management skills with the ability to work independently and in a team.
