The Opportunity:

As a Workshop Boilermaker, you will play a vital role in the fabrication and assembly of metal structures, vessels, and components. From interpreting blueprints to performing precision welding, your craftsmanship will contribute to the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Metal Fabrication: Interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Welding: Perform high-quality welding on a variety of metals, ensuring precision and structural integrity.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Conduct maintenance, repairs, and modifications on existing metal structures as required.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Report any safety concerns promptly.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections on completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and project specifications.

Role Located: Fairfield, NSW

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience as a Boilermaker or in a similar metal fabrication role with the ability to work unsupervised.
  • Trade qualification as a Boilermaker or relevant certification.
  • Current forklift licence.
  • RTCA Electrical worker competency.
  • Working at heights and confined space card.
  • Strong welding skills, including experience with various welding techniques and equipment.
  • Knowledge of metal properties, fabrication processes, and safety protocols.
