THE ROLE

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Boilermaker to join our structural steel installation team at the Hallett Group. In this role, you will liaise with the team, interpret plans and technical drawings to deliver and erect structural steel across a variety of residential building sites.

You bring strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and clear communication skills. As a key point of contact, you’ll collaborate with both internal teams and external stakeholders, consistently demonstrating your ability to build strong professional relationships and deliver exceptional service. From interpreting technical drawings working at height with cranes and rigging gear, you’ll play a key part in bringing large-scale projects to life. If you have experience in steel erection, a strong work ethic, and a passion for precision, we want to hear from you.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES

• Marking out slab in accordance with technical drawings

• Assemble and erect structural steel components such as beams, columns

• Ability to problem solve on site

• Align, bolt, and weld structural steel members into place.

• Maintaining compliance with all safety and site requirements

• Good communication and customer interaction

QUALIFICATIONS | EXPERIENCE | CAPABILITIES

• Relevant trade certificates

• Crane and Rigger/dogman license Preferable but not essential

• Proficient in reading plane and interpret technical drawings

• Experience Welding and Oxycutting

• Strong Knowledge of safety and PPE requirements

• Construction White Card
