Join a leading resources operation on Australia's largest privately owned rail network. We're looking for an experienced Ballast Cleaner / Fitter Mechanical to operate, repair and maintain Ballast Cleaner RM900 and Spoil Wagon Track Machines across workshop and operational environments on the Pilbara rail network.
What you'll be doing
- Service and maintenance of Caterpillar and Deutch engines
- Pneumatic systems including train brake systems
- Conveyor belt building and installation
- Hydraulic fault finding and component change outs
- Wear liner change out and fabrication
- 415/240V and 24V diagnostics and statutory compliance
- PLC diagnostics and repair
What you'll bring - Strong safety values and culture
- Plasser track machinery experience
- Mechanical background essential
- Hydraulic experience preferable
- Rail maintenance experience with sound knowledge of rail operations and practices
- Current C Class driver's licence
- National Police Clearance
Nice to have - HR licence, forklift ticket, WWH experience
- National qualifications in Rail Infrastructure
