Expression of Interest - Baking Apprenticeship

We are currently working with an employer who is looking to take on Baking Apprentices at various stores across WA. 

What is a Baking Apprenticeship? 

Bakers prepare and bake all types of breads, rolls, cakes, pastries and other baked goods. They knead, mature, mold and shape pastry goods, monitor the cleanliness of the equipment, and coordinate the forming, loading, baking, de-panning and cooling of all the types of baked goods.

As an apprentice or trainee, you enter into a formal training contract with an employer, enabling you to complete training towards a nationally recognised qualification. You spend time working and learning practical skills on the job and you spend some time undertaking structured training with a registered training provider.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for Expressions of Interest from candidates that are interested in completing a Baking Apprenticeship. 

Ideally you will be:

• Reliable with great time management
• Committed to attending off-the-job training at TAFE or another training provider
• Flexible
• Open to early mornings, if required
• Looking for a stable career pathway
• Beginners and recommencing apprentices are encouraged to apply
