Automotive Spray Painter

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Spray Painter to join our team in Willawong, Queensland. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality paint finishes on vehicles, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining our reputation for excellence in the automotive industry. This full-time position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your skills will be valued and developed. $1,600 – $1,800 net (in the hand) per week

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary.
• Mix and apply paint, ensuring colour accuracy and consistency.
• Operate spray painting equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
• Inspect finished work for quality and make necessary adjustments.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an automotive spray painter or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of paint mixing and application techniques.
• Familiarity with automotive repair and painting equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
