Automotive Apprenticeship | Tony & Clive Hughes

About the role

Based in Burwood, Victoria this role will see the successful apprentice working a Monday to Friday, Fulltime roster within a long-standing automotive workshop, whilst completing a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology.

As a 2^nd or 3^rd year apprentice, you will be provided ongoing support throughout your journey and be empowered to work autonomously. Building a career from the ground up, you will grow under the expertise of the owners completing tasks that set you up for success within the industry. You will be exposed to the latest technology and will have the opportunity to be exposed to brands such as Lexus, BMW and ford.

What you will be doing

• Gain practical experience in the safe use of power tools and hand tools
• Participate in regular training and development to enhance your carpentry knowledge and skills
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
• Complete other tasks as directed

What we are looking for

• Current Manual driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• Someone that is confident, productive, proactive and eager to learn
• Industry Experience
• Ability to work a Monday to Friday roster with some overtime
• Mature minded, adaptable and ready to learn and take on feedback
