Apprenticeship - Refrigeration Mechanic (2nd, 3rd or 4th year)

Our engineering teams keep our facilities running safely, efficiently and reliably - and we're now looking for our next Apprentice Refrigeration Mechanic to grow with us at our Laverton North site.

About the Role

As an Apprentice Refrigeration Mechanic, you'll work closely with our qualified trades team to learn and support the maintenance and repair of industrial refrigeration systems, cold storage facilities and essential plant and equipment across our VIC metro sites.

You'll gain hands-on experience in:

• Servicing compressors, condensers, evaporators and refrigeration systems
• Diagnosing faults and breakdowns
• Supporting preventative maintenance tasks
• Assisting with inspections, repairs and refurbishment projects
• Maintaining tools, equipment and workspaces
• Using systems such as MEX and SAP to record work and track maintenance
• Working safely in line with OH&S and risk management standards

As your skills grow, you'll have opportunities to participate in after-hours callouts under supervision and contribute to capital works, energy management initiatives and multi-site support.

• Currently enrolled in a Refrigeration Mechanic apprenticeship (ideally 3rd or 4th year)

• Eager to learn, not just within refrigeration but potentially across other maintenance disciplines
