ABOUT THE APPRENTICESHIP

Nature Play Solutions are offering a fantastic opportunity for two full-time apprentices to join their team and gain hands-on experience, while completing a Certificate III in Landscape Construction.

 In this role, you will develop practical skills and knowledge to construct, renovate, and maintain garden landscapes. You'll assist with a wide range of tasks across various projects, contributing to the creation of inspiring outdoor spaces.

In this role, you will learn about hard and soft landscaping, irrigation, plant knowledge and horticulture, landscape machinery and other aspects of creating play spaces for children. 

Key responsibilities may include assisting the site supervisor and leading hand with daily duties and executing projects from start to finish, learn and apply safety standards for safety, design, and environmental practices, and work with various materials and tools to complete tasks in landscape construction. 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:

• Be reliable and punctual
• Hold a valid driver's license (manual preferred)
• Have or be prepared to get a white card prior to commencing
• Possess strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions
• Demonstrate a genuine interest in landscape construction
• Demonstrate a commitment to working safely and following safety requirements
• Be physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Successfully pass a drug and alcohol screening both as part of the onboarding process and to pass ongoing random testing.
