Work & Training together with our valued Host Business are pleased to offer this exciting four year apprenticeship in Certificate III Engineering – Fabrication (MEM31922).
Whilst undertaking a nationally recognised qualification, the successful applicant will be involved in producing a variety of products made of stainless steel, aluminium and steel under the guidance of the Business owner.
What would this involve?
· You would be employed by Work & Training, and hosted to our valued Host Business.
· Work is generally full time – Monday to Friday.
· Full entitlements including four weeks of holidays per year.
· You would receive dedicated mentoring and support throughout the apprenticeship.
· Your workplace supervisor and team would provide daily instruction and additional workplace knowledge.
We are looking for applicants who:
· Have a genuine interest in the trade and can bring a practical hands-on approach,
· Have the ability to work as part of a team,
· Exhibit a solid work ethic and sound knowledge of Work Health and Safety practices,
· Have a willingness to learn and the ability take instructions,
· Bring Pre-vocational training/course or work experience,
· Hold a current White Card (or have the ability to gain one).
Essential criteria:
· As a physically demanding role, the successful applicant will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical that includes drug and alcohol testing,
· Drivers Licence and a reliable vehicle.
Wage:
· National Training Wage applies.
