Apprentice Tyre Fitter/Mechanic

Roll Right Tyres are looking for an apprentice to join the team!

ABOUT THE BUSINESS

Roll Right Tyres sell brand new and second-hand tyres, along with accepting tyre repairs, wheel alignment, and various mechanical services including:

• Suspension inspections and repair
• Brake inspections and repair
• Maintenance service and logbook services
• Engine performance inspections and repair
• Aircon inspection and repair
• Minor electrical diagnosing and repair.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As an apprentice, you'll assist and learn all aspects of the services listed above. Training will be provided, specifically relating to tyre inspection/repair, but ideally, you'll have basic car servicing skills or knowledge. You'll also learn and follow the health and safety procedures before and during work.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A basic understanding and knowledge of the automotive industry
• A willingness to learn and be open-minded
• The ability to follow instructions clearly and precisely to ensure that work is done effectively, efficiently, and upholds our health and safety standards
• Be polite and kind to both customers and co-workers
• The ability to demonstrate basic customer service skills to ensure clients are satisfied
• Driver's license
• Ability to provide a police clearance
