Apprentice Toolmaker


 


This is a fully paid Four Year Apprenticeship.




NO EXPERIENCE or prerequisites are required, just a good attitude, willingness to learn and motivation to begin your full-time career.  You will have 1-on-1 mentoring and learn from highly experienced Toolmakers and CNC Technicians in a collaborative team.


Training will consist of on-the-job mentoring and the completion of a MEM31519 Certificate III in Engineering – Toolmaking Trade.




Your new role




Your new role will see you working in our small Toolmaking team manufacturing and servicing mould parts including assembling and disassembling, learning the workings of the mould, and learning to read and interpret drawings, schematics and CAD drawings and models.




What you need to succeed



  • Minimum year 10 passes in Mathematics and English

  • Genuine interest in Learning a Toolmaking trade

  • Good hand-eye coordination

  • Good attention to detail

  • Punctual and reliable

  • Capable of following instructions [verbal and written]

  • An Australian Resident or Citizen
