Swan City Smash Repairs is seeking a Spray Painter to join their team in a full-time capacity. This opportunity is ideal for a later-term apprentice or recently qualified tradesperson looking to further develop their skills in a busy and well-established workshop.

Swan City Smash Repairs has been operating since approximately 1970 and is now under new ownership. With well over 70 years of combined experience in automotive repair, the business has built a strong reputation for its extensive knowledge, customer focus, quality workmanship, and industry respect. The workshop is well equipped and consistently busy.

• Carry out all aspects of automotive spray painting
• Identify and repair inconsistencies in substrates
• Sand, clean, and prepare surfaces for priming and painting
• Apply primers and paint, including mixing materials
• Perform masking, blocking, and finishing preparation
• Buff and refine completed refinishing work

• Honest, reliable, and enthusiastic
• Strong work ethic with a can do attitude
• Able to work independently and show initiative

• Some industry experience preferred (later-term apprentice )
• Strong attention to detail and passion for the trade
