Apprentice Sport Turf Management

Learn to operate various mowing equipment safely and efficiently, performing routine maintenance and inspections on equipment. Ensure lawns and green spaces are maintained to a high standard and assist other grounds keeping staff with tasks as needed.

Embark on a rewarding learning journey a Sports Turf Management Apprentice. The successful candidate will be responsible for learning to maintain and enhance green spaces across the entire Macquarie University site. Alongside your practical duties, you will also attend weekly classroom learning sessions. This four-year apprenticeship will equip you with the skills and knowledge needed for career advancement.

Our program offers paid hands-on training under expert mentors, equipping you with valuable skills and a nationally recognised trade qualification. At the end of the program, you'll be prepared to take on new roles within our organisation and grow into a Team Leader or Site Manager, ready to lead with confidence.

• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
• Valid Working With Vulnerable People Check (or be willing to obtain one)
• Valid White Card (or be willing to obtain one)
