Apprentice Parks and Gardens

Embark on a rewarding learning journey as an Apprentice Horticulturist. Based at our client’s site, the University of Canberra, you will be responsible for maintaining native gardens and sports fields. Our client is committed to sustainability and the site has received numerous awards. In addition to your hands-on work in maintaining green spaces, you will also attend weekly classroom learning sessions.

This four-year apprenticeship offers hands-on training under expert mentors, equipping you with valuable skills and a nationally recognised trade qualification. You will progress to take on roles as a Team Leader or Site Manager, ready to lead with confidence.

About You 

• No prior experience required
• Valid Drivers' licence 
• Valid Working With Vulnerable People Check (or be willing to obtain one)
• Valid White Card (or be willing to obtain one)
