Diplock’s Collision Repair Centre has great country camaraderie: The team of 18 includes several long-serving team-members, complemented by a younger crew coming through. The workshop is very clean, I-CAR Gold accredited and fully equipped with modern welders, two Car-O-Liner Car-O-Tronic chassis alignment jigs, and two Lowbake spray ovens. It’s easily accessible from any part of Rockhampton — just a couple of minutes out of town. The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Panel Beater to join the team at Diplock's Collision. 

We are the industry leading business in supporting apprentices - we take pride on providing a high level of support and growing our tradespeople, you will learn the correct repair techniques and methods and receive the best training and a long-term career!

This position will see you commence as a 1st year Panel Beater and work alongside our skilled tradespeople learning a range of skills within our workshop, while gaining your trade qualification.

You will undertake training to return vehicles to their pre-accident condition. Learning various repair methods.

This position is permanent, full time. Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week.

Role responsibilities

• Disassemble vehicle
• Label parts and store accordingly
• Notate broken parts/extra repairs and submit to Estimator
• Double check new parts are correct and not damaged
• Carry out repairs as per the Repair Method and in accordance with the Job Sheet/Estimate
• Reassemble vehicle as per Job Sheet
