3rd & 4th Year Heavy Diesel Mechanical Apprenticeship / Mine Apprentice Mechanic – Tamworth

We are looking for a high performing 3rd & 4th year apprentice to join our field service team. The Gunnedah Basin mining region is home to over 170 Cummins High Horsepower engines, powering a range of mining equipment. And you could be at the coal face diagnosing and repairing these engines, alongside our qualified technicians.


Working under the supervision of a qualified Cummins Technician, you will learn everything that comes with the diagnosis and repair of Cummins engines and products. Cummins are dedicated to diversifying our workforce and encourage Indigenous Australians, women and individuals with a disability to apply for our apprenticeship programs. To be successful in this role you will need the following:


-        Recently started your 3rd year of your Heavy Commercial Vehicle Apprenticeship AUR31116, we will consider applicants who are part way through the 3rd year


-        A positive attitude and eagerness to learn


-        The ability to work well in a team


-        Good level of language, literacy, and numeracy skills


-        Right to work in Australia


-        A strong focus on safety
