If you are an undergraduate Business student looking to jump start your career, we are offering a 13-month full time or part time internship based at our Perth office. This is a unique opportunity to gain skills and knowledge while you are working full time commencing 27th January 2025. In this role you will provide administrative support to the Apprentice Program Management (APM) team and APAC Training Manager. The key aspect of this role supports both internal and external stakeholders within the operational environment of Cummins Asia Pacific and specifically the South Pacific Region Apprentice Program.



Responsibilities

About You: 

To qualify for this undergraduate internship, it is essential that you:

  • Are currently studying a Bachelor degree in Business or a related discipline.
  • Have between 1 and 8 units of study left to complete of your undergraduate degree as of January 2025
  • Are available for the full 13 months and be willing to defer your studies for that duration.

Note: Applicants that do not meet these qualifying requirements unfortunately will not be considered.

 

To be successful in this role, you will possess skills/abilities or be able to perform:

  • Ability to understand and maintain confidentiality.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Basic to intermediate computer literacy and understanding of MS Office
  • Time management

This is a 13-month, full time or part time, paid placement and the successful candidate will be required to defer their studies for the duration of the program.

Qualifications

In this role you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Assistance in the recruitment process for the South Pacific Apprentice Program
  • Liaison with external suppliers e.g., TAFE organisations, suppliers
  • Assist with planning and delivery of apprenticeship promotion events.
  • Collaborate with the South Pacific branch network regarding work experience program.
  • Support strategies to improve gender and cultural diversity in apprentice recruitment.
