XO Salon is on the look-out for a part-time apprentice hairdresser to join their team!


 


ABOUT THE EMPLOYER


XO Salon is designed to provide you with a luxurious experience that caters to all hair care needs. With experienced colourist's and stylists, they will make sure that clients look their best with a tailored look that meets individual needs. XO SALON offer a range of services primarily focusing on female hair, colour masters, extensions weft/clip, bridal events, fashion shows, and major transformations.

ABOUT THE APPRENTICESHIP


The successful candidate will be enrolled to complete a Certificate III in Hairdressing on a part-time basis. As an apprentice, you'll be supported by XO Salon and a nominated Registered Training Organisation (RTO) on your journey to becoming a qualified hairdresser.


 


Duties may include, but not limited to:



  • Blow drying and washing hair

  • Making coffees or beverages for clients

  • Assisting with finalising payments after services

  • General cleaning and upkeep of the salon

  • Hands on learning and assisting head artists


 


Ideally, we are looking for someone who:



  • Has a great work ethic

  • A keen interest in the industry and wanting to learn

  • Is able to work in a team environment

  • Has great customer services skills and work with clients

  • Has good hygiene and presentability

  • Is available to work Saturdays


 


As a part-time apprentice, you will be offered an average of 20 hours per week with additional hours available.
