Community Solutions are seeking a candidate who is keen to become trade qualified Fire Systems Technician with a global organisation that has been providing fire safety and security solutions for over 200 years. The Fire Services Team offer service and repairs. Trade qualified supervisors will guide the successful candidate for this 4 year apprenticeship to mentor & complete a certificate III in Fire Protection Control (CPC32820)

The Apprenticeship

Subjects will include :

  • Conduct functional water flow testing
  • Test and maintain fire hydrant and hose reel installations
  • Design pre-calculated fire sprinkler systems
  • Install control valve assemblies and local alarms

Requirements

  • Valid Manual Driver’s licence 
  • Reliable vehicle
  • Mechanical Aptitude
  • White Card (or willing to obtain)
  • Able to work independently and as a part of a team
  • Pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing

Community Solutions is a non-for-profit organisation operating as a commercial business, providing apprentices and trainees to a variety of different businesses throughout Queensland. We provide apprentices and trainees important career guidance and opportunity to earn while they learn. Dedicated Field Officers are assigned to apprentices and trainees to provide ongoing support to completing their chosen trade qualification.
