About the Role

As an Apprentice Electrician at Georges River Council, you’ll work alongside qualified electricians to assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. You’ll gain hands-on experience across various projects while adhering to WHS practices and developing essential trade skills to become a qualified electrician.


What We Offer You:

  • Full-Time, Temporary Position (Up to 4-Year Apprenticeship) with competitive pay from $47,845.20 per annum, plus superannuation 11.5%.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Enrolled in an Electrical Apprenticeship Program: Working towards or willingness to enrol in Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (UEE30820).
  • Construction Induction Card (White Card): Mandatory for site safety compliance.
  • Commitment to WHS and EEO Principles: A strong focus on safety, teamwork and inclusivity.
  • Customer Service Commitment: A positive attitude and dedication to delivering high quality work.
  • Effective Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication to work collaboratively with the team and stakeholders.
  • Licences: Current Class C Drivers Licence (or working towards).
