About the Role:


Jewelbic Electrical is seeking a motivated Electrical Apprentice to join its dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring electrician to gain hands-on experience in a supportive and professional environment. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced electricians on a variety of commercial and residential projects, developing essential skills and knowledge in the trade.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with electrical installations, including wiring, outlets, lighting, and switchboards

  • Performing maintenance and repair tasks, such as diagnosing faults and replacing faulty components

  • Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and site drawings

  • Operating hand tools, power tools, and test equipment safely and effectively

  • Following Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) regulations and wearing appropriate PPE

  • Attending TAFE or RTO training sessions and completing required coursework

  • Supporting tradespeople with general worksite duties, including material handling and maintaining a clean workspace

  • Developing troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve electrical issues

 

Ideal Candidate Attributes:

  • Completion of a Certificate II in Electrotechnology (Career Start) - UEE22020 (preferred but not essential)

  • Enthusiastic and eager to learn

  • Strong work ethic with a commitment to safety

  • Team player with a positive and proactive attitude

 

Essential Requirements:

  • White Card (or willingness to obtain)

  • Valid driver’s license
