We are looking for a motivated and eager Apprentice Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As an apprentice, you will work under the guidance of experienced mechanics, learning the skills necessary to maintain, repair, and service our fleet of diesel buses. We would also be open to applications from 2nd, 3rd or 4th year apprentices looking to continue and grow their career with a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist senior mechanics with the maintenance and repair of diesel engines and related components.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on buses.
• Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company policies.
Requirements:
• Completion of Year 12 or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of diesel engines and mechanical systems.
• Strong desire to learn and develop skills in diesel mechanics.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
• Valid driver’s license.
