The Role

  • As a Second Year Apprentice Chef, you will work under the supervision of our experienced Head Chef and culinary team to develop your skills and contribute to the smooth operation of our kitchen. You will play a key role in preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes in line with standards and recipes.
  • Support kitchen operations, including mise en place, plating, and cleaning duties.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of work areas, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
  • Follow food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure a safe kitchen environment.
  • Learn and apply various cooking techniques under the guidance of senior chefs.
  • Participate in inventory management and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
  • Commit to attending TAFE courses and completing required coursework.
