APPRENTICE CARPENTER
Scone
Full-Time – Fixed Term Contract (up to 4 years)

About the Role
Council are currently looking for a motivated Apprentice Carpenter to learn everything about building construction and maintenance tasks around the Shire.
This is an outstanding opportunity for candidates to develop a dynamic and fulfilling career with a well-established organisation which supports our local community.  Joining the Council Parks & Facilities team, based out of the Scone Depot, you will work under the guidance and mentorship of our experienced and passionate Building Maintenance Supervisor and receive formal training through a Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
Upon completion of your four-year apprenticeship, you will have earned a trade qualification that is recognised nationally.

About You:
Our successful applicant will have a NSW Record of School Achievement (RoSA) or equivalent and will have sound literacy, numeracy, oral and written communication skills. The willingness and capability to learn and complete required training is essential, as is the ability to work cooperatively as part of a team.
