We are now seeking an Apprentice Cable Jointer to join our growing team at our Truganina, Mickleham or Pakenham Depot.

Description

As an Apprentice Cable Jointer you will enter a niche trade with endless opportunities. Initially you will be required to prepare construction sites for cable installation, including trenching, digging, and preparing conduit pathways as needed. You will ensure proper excavation procedures are followed while adhering to safety standards. Install, route, and secure cables in accordance with design plans, engineering drawings, and client specifications. Assist with lifting, landing and transportation of kiosks, cable, public lighting and other materials to and from site as required. You will work closely with other construction personnel including Construction Managers, Team Leaders, Cable Jointers and Cable    Installers, to ensure smooth coordination and timely project completion. You will bring a willingness to adhere to all UCS Group and site-specific safety policies, ensuring personal and team safety during all activities. You will be hardworking, dedicated and a team player with a ‘can do attitude’.

Qualifications and Licenses:

  • Drivers Licence Essential
  • Industry White Card Desirable
  • VCE or VCAL Certificate of Completion Essential
