Apprentice Baker - Baker's Delight!

 

About the Business

Bakers Delight is a well-loved franchise retail bakery, dedicated to crafting freshly baked goods every day. They take pride in delivering high-quality, delicious bread and treats to customers, and we’re looking for a passionate apprentice baker to join their team.

 

About the Role

As an Apprentice Baker, you will work alongside skilled bakers to learn the craft of traditional baking. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the preparation and baking of fresh bread and treats
  • Operating bakery equipment and following proven recipes
  • Ensuring products meet high-quality standards
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised workspace
  • Occasionally assisting with customers, inventory, and orders

 

What We’re Looking For 

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is an early riser, as shifts can start at 2am
  • Works well in a team and communicates effectively
  • Can lift 12.5kg flour bags and stand for extended periods
  • Pays attention to detail and takes pride in their work
  • Certificate II in Baking (or working towards) and/or experience with Bakers Delight is a plus but not essential
  • A driver's license, or reliable transport to attend early shifts
