Role Overview

As an Apprentice Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) at Helismart, you will embark on a comprehensive training journey that combines hands-on experience with academic learning. Under the mentorship of our experienced Licensed Engineers, you will acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to become a qualified Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with a Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical). Key Responsibilities

Assist in Maintenance and Repairs: Support the maintenance and repair of rotary aircraft, ensuring compliance with all safety standards and regulations.

Safety Compliance: Learn and adhere to aviation safety regulations, guidelines, and best practices.

Technical Skills Development: Gain proficiency in using specialised tools, equipment, and diagnostic systems for aircraft maintenance.

Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Work alongside experienced engineers to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in rotary aircraft.

Theoretical Learning: Complete Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical) theory at Aviation Australia in Brisbane.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
