The Opportunity
Join our dynamic team in Melbourne’s Northern suburbs and play a crucial role in our ever-growing success. We are seeking highly motivated individuals to fill the position of A Grade Electrician. In this role, you will undergo comprehensive training on a variety of tasks integral to the caravan assembly process.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Electrical System Installation:
- Execute precise installation of electrical systems in caravans, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Use of hand and power tools
- Fitting & wiring 12V accessories such as speakers, radios, lights, power outlets, fans, etc
- Testing 12V accessories, fault finding and repairs as necessary
- Testing 240 Circuits
- Running wiring (rough-in) to specified locations as instructed
- Perform basic wiring of sway control systems, water tank sensors, brakes, etc : Carry out any other electrical works as instructed
2. Diagnostic and Repair:
- Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues, implementing effective and timely solutions to ensure product quality.
3. Collaboration:
- Work closely with the assembly team to integrate electrical components seamlessly into the overall manufacturing process.
- Demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively within a diverse team
- Ability to be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management, meeting daily targets
- Relevant experience and knowledge
4.Quality Control:
- Conduct rigorous testing and quality checks to guarantee the reliability and safety of electrical systems within our caravans.
5.Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of electrical installations and repairs, adhering to established procedures.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Possess a valid A Grade Electrician license, demonstrating a high level of proficiency in electrical work.
- Experience in 12V and 240Volt
- Electrical Rough-In and Fit Off
- Ability to analyse and solve complex electrical issues efficiently.
- Be adaptable to a dynamic work environment and open to learning new skills during the training process.
