The Role

Community Solutions are seeking a 3rd & 4th year electrical apprentice in Garbutt, Townsville. The right person must be highly motivated, have a passion for electrical work and willingness to learn and grow within the industry. You will be a part of a market leading, family-owned Townsville business that supplies and installs a variety of products of benefit to both residential and commercial environments.

Requirements

• Valid Manual Driver’s licence
• Exemplar profiling must be up to date
• Shift working, night and day (shift penalties apply)
• White Card (Construction Safety Induction) or willing to obtain
• LVR/CPR current or willing to renew.
• Ability to think logically and process diagnostic ability
• Able to work independently and as a part of a team
• Display an eagerness to work
• Enjoy completing practical work
• Able to carry out precise and detailed work
• Ability to provide two professional references
• Pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing

Community Solutions is a non-for-profit organisation operating as a commercial business, providing apprentices and trainees to a variety of different businesses throughout the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane. We provide apprentices and trainees important career guidance and opportunity to earn while they learn. Dedicated Field Officers are assigned to apprentices and trainees to provide ongoing support to completing their chosen trade qualification.
