Graduate Mechanical Engineer

You will receive a permanent position and structured on-the-job training, guided learning plans and leadership mentoring. Over the two-year program, you will be building your career as you experience two one-year rotations with placements in various roles and projects.

UGL is looking for final-year Mechanical Engineering students or graduates who completed their degree in 2024 to kick off their first 12-month rotation in our Manufacturing & Maintenance business. Based at our Kangy Angy site on the Central Coast, UGL Mechanical Engineering Graduates will play a crucial part in our Joint Venture to operate and maintain the Kangy Angy Maintenance Facility, a purpose-built facility to service and maintain the Mariyung fleet of intercity trains for NSW TrainLink.
To be successful in this program, you will have the capability to:
· Be flexible, adaptable, and proactive in learning new skills.
· Work both autonomously and collaboratively within teams.
· Deliver high-quality, outcome-driven work and stay self-motivated.
· Build positive relationships with stakeholders and communicate effectively.
· Innovate and propose creative solutions and be willing to FIFO/relocate for program rotations.
