Better Space in Kardinya is seeking a Carpentry Apprentice!
ABOUT THE BUSINESS
Better Space Pty Ltd is a family-owned carpentry and building company. Primarily renovating existing residential homes in the southern suburbs. They are a close team with long term employees that proactively keep the business as a great place to work. The role will be best suited to someone who is a mature young adult with some experience and knowledge in trade work.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Responsibilities of an Apprentice Carpenter:
- Use hand tools
- Work out calculations
- Climb on roofs
- Build or renovate homes
- Read and interpret plans
- Keep the work site tidy
- Bring positive energy and support your team
Successful candidate will have:
- A construction white card or willing to obtain one
- A valid manual C class driver’s license
- Reliability and a GENUINE interest in carpentry is a MUST
- Be extremely punctual
- Fully vaccinated
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical exam, including a drug and alcohol screen
- Suitable level of fitness due to the physicality of the job
- Positive attitude towards learning and personal development
