THE OPPORTUITY

Jewelbic Plumbing is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Plumber to join its growing team. This position is ideal for a first or second-year apprentice looking to build a long-term career and progress to a fully qualified tradesperson.

GENERAL DUITIES

  • Assist with plumbing installations including pipework, fixtures, fittings, and appliances
  • Support maintenance and repair tasks, including fault diagnosis and component replacement
  • Read and interpret plumbing plans and site layouts
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and plumbing machinery safely and effectively
  • Adhere to WHS regulations and maintain proper use of PPE
  • Attend TAFE/RTO training and complete required coursework
  • Perform general worksite duties such as material handling and site cleanliness
  • Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues under supervision

 

IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Completion of a pre-apprenticeship in plumbing (Certificate II or equivalent) is preferred but not essential
  • Demonstrates enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
  • Shows a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
  • Possesses a positive attitude and works well in a team environment

 

ESSTENTIAL REQUIREMENT

  • Construction White Card (or willingness to obtain)
  • Valid driver’s licence
