Join a growing construction and demolition waste facility in Hemmant. This hands-on role involves sorting recyclable materials from waste on a conveyor line, working both indoors and outdoors. Multiple shift options are available, offering consistent hours and long-term opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort construction waste manually on a conveyor line
- Remove timber, steel, concrete, and other recyclables
- Use shovels and tools to maintain flow on the line
- Assist with clean-up and basic plant maintenance
- Follow strict safety protocols including use of PPE
Qualifications/Experience required
- Physically fit for repetitive manual labour
- Comfortable in dusty construction environments
- Able to wear P2 mask (must be clean-shaven)
- Reliable transport to Hemmant for early/afternoon shifts
- Forklift licence (LF) desirable but not essential
What’s on offer
- AM shift: 4:45 AM start – $35.60/hr + penalties + super
- PM shift: 1:45 PM start – $40.94/hr + penalties + super
- Monday to Friday with consistent hours
- Full training provided – no prior experience required
