At Powertech, you will contribute to groundbreaking projects, including Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Standalone Power Systems (SAPS), Microgrids, Switchboards, and more. Reporting to the Workshop Electrical Lead, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, innovative solutions that power industries forward. Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and manufacture electrical systems for EPC projects, including switchboards, control panels, skid-mounted equipment, and renewable energy solutions.
  • Perform hands-on work with DC systems, batteries, and automation technologies, ensuring compliance with rigorous safety and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team to meet project deadlines and budgetary goals.
  • Participate in daily pre-start meetings and contribute ideas to enhance processes and efficiency.
  • Maintain a safe, organised workshop environment, adhering to strict safety protocols at all times.
  • Occasionally provide on-site support as project needs arise.


Skills And Experiences

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in electrical manufacturing, particularly with switchboards or similar equipment.
  • Experience with Solar installations or renewable energy highly desirable.
  • Practical expertise with DC systems and batteries (experience with renewable energy solutions such as BESS or SAPS is highly desirable).
  • A steadfast commitment to safety, quality, and delivering exceptional results.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively, adapting to the demands of each project.
  • A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • A valid Queensland Electrical Trade Licence (additional certifications or qualifications are a plus).
