NEPEAN Power is growing, and we are seeking skilled Electricians to join our team. With multiple employment pathways available, permanent, casual, and fixed‑term, this role offers flexibility and genuine career opportunities within a leading Australian electrical manufacturer.

Based in our Mackay workshop, you will contribute to the electrical installation, wiring, testing, and pre‑commissioning of modular switchrooms, skids, and transportable electrical infrastructure used across major industries nationwide.

You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality electrical fit‑outs within a collaborative workshop environment. You will work closely with a multi‑trade team to ensure all products meet NEPEAN’s strict safety and quality standards.

You will:

• Install, wire, and terminate electrical systems in modular switchrooms, skids, and prefabricated enclosures
• Interpret electrical schematics, drawings, and scopes of work
• Carry out testing, fault finding, and pre‑commissioning prior to delivery
• Work efficiently with fabrication and carpentry teams to sequence tasks
• Ensure all electrical work complies with AS3000, AS4871, and relevant standards
• Maintain tools, test equipment, and workshop machinery
• Complete progress reports, service sheets, and documentation requirements
• Support inspections, logistics, and client handover processes
• Follow WHS procedures, SWMS, and risk assessments at all times

To be successful in this position, you will have:

• A relevant electrical trade qualification
• A current NSW Electrical Licence (or equivalent)
• A valid Driver Licence
• Experience in electrical installation and fit‑outs (modular, industrial, or construction environments preferred)
• Strong knowledge of AS3000 and AS4871
• The ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics
• Solid fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
• Effective communication and a collaborative work approach
• A strong safety and quality focus

Highly regarded but not essential:

• Forklift licence
• EWP ticket
• Confined space certification
