About the role:
Ever wondered why welders wear those long masks and thick gloves? You already knew that. How’s your knowledge with the following welding terms?
Off-cuts. Cut-ins, Threadolet, Tapping points, Root pass
If you couldn’t think of any, you're about to find out what a welder really does.
A welder works on a variety of interesting projects. One day they’re welding steel and aluminium piping as part of a water asset build. The next, they’re fixing carbon pressure piping.
Welders require someone watching over them - an observer helping them feel safe in case of any potential hazards. Making sure they’re complying with standards and codes. Welders always have a supportive partner by their side.
How do you feel about being that partner? You’d learn something new every day. You would have the opportunity to further your skills in the operation and maintenance of water assets. You would have the opportunity to progress with a supportive company that wants you to do well.
Based in Kellerberrin or surrounding area, you would report to the Civil Team Leader.
