What we are looking for:

Are you a safety-conscious team player with a positive attitude? 

We're seeking a dedicated individual to support the operational and maintenance needs of Council's water and wastewater assets. This role involves operating machinery and performing hands-on labour to ensure these essential services run smoothly.

Your depot is based in Maryborough but you'll have the chance to travel across the Fraser Coast, tackling diverse challenges and working in various locations.

What you should have to apply:

  • Current machinery/plant licence for bobcat and excavator
  • Construction Induction Training (White Card)
  • Current Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B and Tetanus immunisations (or willingness to obtain within one month of commencing)
  • Current Medium Rigid (MR) Licence (or ability to obtain within 3months of commencing)

What's nice to have:

  • Basic computer literacy
  • Current machinery/plant licence for a backhoe
  • Provide First Aid/CPR
  • Traffic Implementation (Level 2)
