Job Description: Painting Trades Worker

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, and washing as necessary.
• Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired shades and ensure consistent application.
• Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
• Inspect and assess completed work for quality and conformity with specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following safety protocols and procedures.
• Collaborate with team members and other tradespersons to complete projects on time.
• Deliver high-quality workmanship to meet client expectations and project goals.

Essential Qualifications:

• No specific educational qualifications are required; experience in the field is valued.
• Proven experience in painting, preferably in a residential or commercial setting.
• Knowledge of various painting techniques, materials, and tools.

Desired Experience:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a painting trades worker or in a similar role.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Experience in managing multiple projects and adhering to deadlines.
